Supervision that supports growth. Systems that serve people. Stories that don’t get told enough.
In the Field was created for the behavior analysts doing the real work—building teams, mentoring new professionals, navigating burnout, and challenging the way it’s always been done.
You won’t find theory without context here. Just conversations with practitioners, founders, educators, and leaders who are rethinking what high-quality, human-centered behavior analysis looks like in the field.

Meet the host
Allyson Wharam, BCBA
Behavior analyst. Instructional designer. Business owner. Mom of three.
I’m Allyson, a doc student, BCBA, and founder of Sidekick Learning. I started In the Field because I wanted a space for the kinds of conversations I wasn’t hearing anywhere else: honest, practical, and grounded in the real challenges (and creativity!) that show up in our work every day. Especially when it comes to training, supervision, and systemic change.
Through Sidekick, I support ABA organizations with training, supervision systems, and tools designed to make quality easier, not more complicated. And on this podcast, I get to talk to people doing incredible work across behavior analysis and share it with you.
